Alrighty guys so this is my tutorial on using the parameters! Now there's really no right or wrong way to do it, but there's some things you definitely should not do, and some things you should always Consider! But basically, this is how I tune with parameters other than pit, I'd be showing that in a potential other tutorial. Hopefully this is helpful!!

set up your vsq!

So basically, the first thing I do is tune the basic pitchbends and notebends! I'm not really gonna be going over this right now, so I'll be referring to this stage as having no edits! So The vsq looks like this rn

Once you've got your pitchbends in, then you'll have a more basic idea of HOW you're gonna want the overall feeling and singing style to be! Without any parameter edits, it'll sound like This

The first thing I always do is edit the dynamics! The dynamics is essentially the 'volume' of the vocals so it's a pretty important thing to helping the vocaloid sound natural! Without dynamic edits the vocaloid will always have a robotic unnatural tone to it. Normally when I edit dynamics, I do it relatively subtly? Like I don't do anything too drastic, my edits look like this!

Now for the most part, more drastic dyn edits actually do produce more natural imperfect results, but that often ends up sounding more shaky and strange than realistic.

The edits I do are just too mimic the natural volume of a humans voice, low notes tend to be more quiet, especially with woman, and high notes tend to be louder!

Now, look at this one specifically

It probably looks strange I know, such a drastic volume drop in the middle of a note? Well not so much actually, if you take a look at the notebend, there's a dip in it, and this is the highest note in this portion of the song! What I'm trying to say is, that volume drop during the slight dip in the voice makes it sound much more dramatic! I'm not sure how to explain this further? But Here's what the vocals will sound like after dynamic edits !

edit the brightness

After adjusting the specific volume of the vocals, it's time to edit the strength!

Just like dynamics, low notes tend to be weaker, and high notes stronger (of course there's exceptions to this though!) here's what my brightness edits look like

There isn't much to explain here, since brightness heavily correlates with dynamics, but I'll explain the last note! Sometimes for high notes a vocalist will switch into falsetto, which is like super soft head voice that can really sound emotional at times! Making the brightness sound low in high notes does a great job of imitating falsetto! And at times, vocaloids high notes will be awfully scratchy, turning brightness down also fixes this! After editing the brightness, it'll sound like This

editing the gender factor

All gender factor does is moderation is adjust the maturity of the vocal. using too much of this sounds awfully unnatural! Have you ever heard Jin's IA? Terrible. BUT in moderation gender factor can add a really nice flare to the voice! Typically, in singing low notes, a singer will adjust their pitch formant to be lower as well, since welll a high pitch formant in low notes just sounds strange (you ever heard Teto sing below D4? That's what I'm talking about) pitch formant is pretty much the real life equivalent to gender factor so you'll wanna adjust it as such! Like this

Notice how much there is on the 'n'. That's the lowest note in the section, and because of the brightness and dynamic edits, it's a weak note, a note made to sound like it's at the bottom of the singer range, so the heavy amount of gender factor adds into that effect even more! After the gender edits, it'll sound like This!

editing the breathiness

Breathiness is an extremely sensitive parameter, so you'll want to be careful using it. It doesn't really work in a sense that it hardly makes the vocal more breathy, and just more scratchy. However, if you've already done the dyn and bri edits to make the vocals weak, adding a TINY amount of breathiness can just add to the soft effect! Especially towards the ends of notes. Like this

With subtle bre edits, it'll sound like This , it's not too noticeable, but certainly helps! NOW PLEASE for the love of god, don't ever use too much bre. If ur bre parameter looks anything like following picture, the vocal is going to sound like a chain smoker

Now here's the last parameter I'll be talking about! Clearness. Used correctly it'll make the vocal just me more crisp and clear, but used incorrectly will have an effect similar to too much breathiness, which is bad! I find clearness especially useful if I want to make low notes clear, or strong! Using it like this (notice I moved the vsq down a bit)

Again, it's not too noticeable here, but in some cases this can be EXTREMELY HELPFUL in making a female vocaloids low notes more powerful. Here's what this vsq sounds like with those clearness edits. Also, going back to the gender factor, you can hear how strange the 'te' that was supposed to be a high note sounds here now that it's been moved lower.
